The main tool used at ICSC LTD was developed as a result of doctoral research by the Principal Consultant. This provides clients with a detailed profile of their corporate cultures and the level of innovative capacity in the organisation.
These profiles and the accompanying reports will give clients a detailed overview of the corporate cultures and also the values that make up these cultures. Businesses are skeptical about the success of management interventions such as TQM, lean manufacturing, etc which are dependent on the concept of change. Cultures in firms are not malleable entities that can be readily reshaped to meet the latest corporate requirement. Cultures are living systems which often will resist and evade most attempts at change.
